Services

JOBROX Solutions addresses the needs of both prospective workers and employers while adhering to the requirements set out by Immigration Canada, HRSDC and provincial labour & employment laws.

We attend to the following services:

  • Work permits – temporary and permanent, student and post graduates
  • Accreditation assessment
  • Training
  • Employment bridging
  • Settlement information and orientation

If you are an immigrant in Canada looking for a better opportunity or you are a returning immigrant in need of a job, JOBROX can assist you.  You are a valuable resource to Canada’s skill shortage and, we believe, you can contribute to the Canadian economy while bettering your life circumstances and that of your families.

Work permits

Living and Working Temporarily
Every year, over 90,000 foreign workers enter Canada on temporary work permits to help Canadian employers address skill shortages. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC) ensure that these workers will support economic growth in Canada and create more opportunities for all Canadian job seekers.

JOBROX will assist you in:

  • Match you with an employer that offers HRSDC approved job opening(s).
  • Acquiring a valid work permit to work in Canada.
  • Ensure you have the correct documentation and visas.

Immigrating and working permanently
Canada welcomes thousands of new residents every year. Coming to Canada as an immigrant is an exciting opportunity, but also a great challenge.

JOBROX works with you, before you leave your home country, to ensure all the correct documentations are completed and submitted. In order to work, you may need to:

  • Find out if Canada accepts your credentials (degrees and diplomas)
  • Get a license to work (if you are a doctor, for example)
  • Obtain more training
  • Successfully complete examinations

Work while studying
Canada now allows foreign students on study permits to work a number of hours a week. We can help match students with employers or match employers who are interested in student workers to fill part-time vacancies.

Post-Graduation work
Graduates of Canadian institutions, that meet certain criteria, are now permitted to work in Canada for a period of one year after graduating. There are strict conditions and time-lines such as an application for work permit should be submitted within 90 days of graduating and the worker should be qualified to perform the work he/she is offered by the Canadian employer.

Accreditation Assessment

Our team of employment specialists is equipped with cutting-edge technology and has the latest, government approved  tools to screen, evaluate, assess and recommend what  a worker or prospective immigrant needs to be job-ready for the Canadian market.

Training

JOBROX helps workers obtain further education and training to be eligible to work in Canada and to qualify for promotions and higher paying jobs.

Employment Bridging

If you require further training, we will provide you with the resources you need to attain your accreditation or specialized skills set.  While you complete your studies or training, JOBROX will match you with a job within your industry of choice so that you may begin to acquire Canadian experience.

Settlement information and orientation

JOBROX will help you with the overwhelming task of settling in Canada.  Our “Complete Care” package begins long before you leave your country of residence and continues well after you’ve entered Canada to ensure that you adjust with ease and success. These include:

  • Running workshops to help you, and your family, familiarize yourselves with life in Canada
  • Making you aware of what to expect upon landing in Canada
  • Introducing you to our Settlement coordinators with the aim of building relationships that are mutually beneficial.
  • Screening your resume to prepare you for for early placement upon entry to Canada
  • Airport pick-up
  • Assistance with housing
  • Registering your children in school
  • Providing you with a list of resources and putting you in touch with other newcomers
  • Guiding you on the ‘dos and don’ts’ of Canadian culture in and out of work
  • Follow-up several weeks after your arrival in Canada
